Before statistical analysis, it should be checked whether the data are categorical (nominal, ordinal) or continuous (interval, ratio). While nonparametric statistics are used in the first round of data, parametric statistics are used in the second round of data.
Logistic regression, which is an advanced nonparametric statistical method, is used when the dependent variable is a dichotomous variable with a dichotomous outcome, such as robust-bad. Also, independent variables are usually continuous, although this is not mandatory.
Predicting whether an event will occur and determining the variables to be used in the prediction have become important in scientific studies and real life.
