This chapter explores the second knowledge spaces and places of health and healing as second spaces. The authors examine the knowledge assets, moments, and mobilities that are common to this environment. The authors identify several health and healing spaces, including physician offices, laboratories, massage studios, hospitals, urgent care facilities, yoga studios, and others. The authors use the blueprint of an emergency room to apply and interpret the spatial syntax indicators common to these places. The value of health knowledge and moments to a knowledge society is also discussed.
