Jan vom Brocke is professor of information systems, the Hilti Chair of business process management and Director of the Institute of Information Systems at the University of Liechtenstein. His research focuses on business process management and related aspects of digital innovation and transformation. He has published, among others, in Managemeent Science, MIS Quarterly (MISQ), Journal of Management Information Systems (JMIS), Journal of Information Technology (JIT), European Journal of Information Systems (EJIS), Information Systems Journal (ISJ), Communications of the ACM (CACM), and MIT Sloan Management Review (MIT SRM). He has held various editorial roles and leadership positions in information systems research and education.

Alexander Michael Schmid is lecturer at Bern University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland. He received his BSc and MA in business economics from University of Bern and University of Zurich and earned his PhD in the same field at University of Liechtenstein. His research focuses on organizational transformation and the governance of change, with a special interest in the role of digital technologies therein. For that purpose, he combines his studies in management, informatics and biology with several years of work experience in industry roles as consultant and software engineer among others.

Alexander Simons is an associated researcher of information systems at University of Liechtenstein. He received his BSc and MSc in information systems from University of Muenster and earned his PhD in business economics at University of Liechtenstein. Alexander currently does research on topics such as immersive systems, crowdsourcing and crowdfunding. He has presented his research at international conferences such as International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), and his work has appeared in prestigious journals such as European Journal of Operational Research (EJOR).

Norizan Safrudin is senior business innovation consultant at the global, high-tech company SAP. She advises and works alongside organizations in reimagining new business models and processes with emerging digital technologies. Her experience spans across various industries from consumer retail to banking, energy and natural resources, travel and hospitality, media and entertainment and so forth. Norizan holds a PhD from Queensland University of Technology, Australia, where she conducted research focused on business transformation management and business process redesign, with a recognition for a best paper award at a Business Process Management conference in the USA.
