Disruptive production process innovation for sustainable business: evidence from an emerging economy

Md. Rahat Khan is a PhD Research Fellow at Jagannath University, Bangladesh, and also working as a teaching faculty member under the Army Institute of Business Administration (Army IBA), Savar, Savar (an affiliated Institute of Bangladesh University of Professionals) with having more than ten years of teaching experiences at university level. He has three books, 40 journal articles, 13 conference papers, and one concept note. He earned his MBA in Marketing and Finance from IBA, Jahangirnagar University Bangladesh, and his MBS and BBS (Hons.) in Management from the National University, Bangladesh. His major research interests are strategic Management and marketing, disruptive innovation, sustainability in business venturing, and entrepreneurship.

Professor Md. Zahir Uddin Arif, Department of Marketing, Faculty of Business Studies, Jagannath University, Dhaka-1100, Bangladesh, is an academician, researcher, Ph.D/M.Phil/MS/MBA theses supervisor and examiner, keynote speaker and track/session chair in international conferences, webinars, and symposiums, WTO-certified trainer, HEQEP-World Bank Fellow, marketing, brand, and HR adviser/consultant, development analyst, distinguished visiting professor, member of the trustee board, academic council and board of advanced studies and research, and advisor of various institutions and universities of home and abroad; an editor/advisory board member and editorial reviewer of around 35 reputed international journals and edited books of Emerald Publishing, IGI Global, Springer-Nature, Inderscience Publishers and other reputed global publishers, universities and research societies; and a contributor to the Asian and African development. His research and consultancy interests include marketing (consumer behavior, consumer rights, CSR, CnSR, brand management, retail marketing, international marketing, public health/health care marketing, tourism marketing, digital marketing, social media marketing, Human to human marketing, relationship marketing), Management, HRM, stock and bond market development, innovative micro-financing, SME, poverty alleviation, ICT, education and technology, environment and sustainable development, gender behavior to consumption and women/human empowerment.

Hussain Gulzar Rammal is Head of the Management Discipline Group and Professor of International Business at the Adelaide Business School, the University of Adelaide. He is the President (Chair) of the Academy of International Business's (AIB) Oceania Chapter for the term 2024–2026. Hussain is the founding editor of the Emerging Issues in International Business and Global Strategy book series, co-editor-in-chief of Review of International Business and Strategy journal, the Real Impact Editor (Oceania) for the Journal of Knowledge Management, and Associate Editor of Business and Society journal. Hussain's current research interests include the internationalization of services firms (trade in services), the transfer of knowledge across the inter-and intra-MNE networks, global talent management, and international business negotiations.
