Excellon Automation has announced the release of the high-speed version of the Century family of drillers, the Century 2001-LBH-HV (large board format,high velicity).
The Century 2001-LBF-HV is a high speed (2000 IPM), six-spindle, high precision drilling system designed for multilayer or double-sided PCB drilling applications.
The Century comes equipped with the innovative and field-proven Dynamic Temperature and Accuracy Control System (DCS™) to allow for high accuracy drilling on large panel PCBs under sub-optimal environmental conditions. Additional features are the EZ tooling system for increased registration accuracy, higher reliability and quick set up, TMS 600 tools and optional EFS™(Electric Field Sensor), a tool monitoring system for high precision(þ0.0002"/0.005mm) controlled depth drilling applications, especially microvias. The Century 2001-LBF-HV is offered with the optional Speed Feed™ autoload system for increased machine uptime and expanded operator utilization.
