Circuit World ventures onto foreign soil this month with its visit to Milan, a city of historical and cultural renown as well as Italy's economic capital, now enjoying a prestigious location at the heart of industrial and commercial Southern Europe. Once the terminus of the mediaeval routes used for trade with the Germanic countries, the Lombard city is today an important junction for rail, road and air traffic.
