IPC releases book-to-bill ratios for November 1998

IPC ­ Association Connecting Electronics Industries has released the US printed wiring board industry book-to-bill ratio for November 1998. The book-to-bill ratio for November 1998 was 0.97 (see Figure 1).

Sales billed (shipments)in November 1998, decreased 9.0 percent over November 1997 and orders booked for November 1998 showed a decrease of 13.4 percent over November 1997.

As compared with 1997,1998 bookings of PWBs are down 2.7 percent year-to-date, while 1998 shipments of PWBs are up 0.6 per cent year-to-date.
