Hadco and Parlex announce joint venture

Hadco, one of the major manufacturers of advanced electronic interconnect products in North America, and Parlex, a world leader in the design and manufacture of flexible interconnect products, announced a preliminary agreement to establish a joint venture for the manufacturing of flexible PCBs.
The intention is that after agreement of all necessary reviews, Parlex would acquire about 55 per cent ownership and management control of Dynaflex, a subsidiary of Hadco. Dynaflex,located in San Jose, California, supplies flexible printed circuits to the electronics industry for applications requiring three-dimensional interconnection. Hadco's principal products are multilayer rigid printed circuits and backplane and system assemblies.
