Set up to use Electra's Carapace EMP110 airspray ink, Leicester Circuits, who ordered the machine at Productronica last November, have experienced results that far outweigh their expectations.

Running successfully for three months now, Leicester Circuits report a saving well in excess of 30 percent over the yields they experienced with their Curtain Coat line and with over 1,200 panels per shift, this gives them a production capacity which beats the manufacturer's claims.

Manufactured by Argus International of Ringoes, New Jersey, USA, the machinery was supplied and installed by Hjelm Graphics ApS of Allerød,Denmark, the newly appointed Argus distributor for the UK and Europe.

The installation at Leicester Circuits follows the highly successful installation last July by Electra Polymers Limited and Hjelm Graphic ApS of the very first Argus double-sided airspray machine and dryer to arrive in Europe, at Siekerprint of Aalborg, Denmark.
