IPC names director of PWB Standards and Technology

IPC has announced the promotion of Chris Jorgensen to director of Printed Wiring Board (PWB) Standards and Technology.
In Jorgensen's new position, he will be responsible for organizing,developing and promoting special programs for the IPC technical standards department.
This includes responsibilities within the environmental and underwriters'laboratories programs. Jorgensen will also be in charge of the development of the Technical Conference at IPC Printed Circuits Expo.
Jorgensen came to IPC in 1997 as a project coordinator. He received a bachelor's degree in communications from Columbia College in Chicago.
