In yet another blow to the hard pressed borders manufacturing industry, 125 workers face losing their jobs after Selkirk-based Signum circuits went into receivership.

KPMG has been appointed the official receiver and it is thought that up to half of the 125-plus workforce at Signum will be declared redundant.
