GraphiCode's GC-PowerPlace now available

GraphiCode has announced the release of GC- PowerPlace v.2.1.2. This is a major upgrade to the previously named GC-Place. GC-PowerPlace provides customer driven enhancements and new features to streamline the process of Gerber data translation (see Figure 1).

With the release of GC-PowerPlace, GraphiCode is building on the success of the Industry Standard software tool GC-Place, which translates Gerber data into intelligent CAD data. GC-PowerPlace delivers powerful, integrated features such as the ability to automatically find the centroids of parts including, BGA's and off-angle components. In addition, GC- PowerPlace gives users the ability to create template apertures based on a part's extents. Another important feature in this 2.1.2. release is the improved user interface which includes customizable toolbars.
