Using DOS and dBASE III to Organize Your File Directories Available to Purchase

There are a number of software utility packages and programs that help you organize the directory of files on your diskettes. However, if you already have dBASE III and have a working knowledge of it, you can combine it with PC‐DOS commands to have everything you need to create and keep current a dBASE III file based on your diskette directory information. You can index this file and, with self‐designed report form specifications, produce listings that will help you control your files.
