Radio Shack: One for the Road Available to Purchase

To expand our computer resources and provide our staff with access to computers outside of the library, we decided to purchase Radio Shack[i.e., Tandy] model 100 computers, which cost approximately S400 when we purchased them. The low cost made it possible to purchase enough microcomputers to distribute them to many divisions throughout the library. Their portability and ease of use made them appealing to all levels of users.
