Dr Maureen Dennehy is based at the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business, Cape Town, South Africa. She provides consulting services in quality and operations to manufacturers. She has over 20 years of experience as a practitioner, mostly in pharmaceutical and medical-device manufacture. She is currently completing her MBA at the University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Graduate School of Business (GSB). Her PhD, also completed at UCT, was in the field of vaccine development.

Dr Hamieda Parker is based at the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business, Cape Town, South Africa. She at UCT GSB. She has a chemical engineering degree from UCT and worked in industry as a development engineer. Her MBA at UCT GSB led to the Advanced Entrepreneurship Programme at Wharton Business School. She completed her PhD in Commerce at UCT on collaborative new product development, based, in part, at Oxford University as a Sainsbury Fellow.

Sarah Boyd is based at the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business, Cape Town, South Africa. She is a writer and researcher based in Cape Town, South Africa, where her work focusses on organisational development and social innovation in emerging markets. She has an MBA from the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business and a Master of Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York.

Claire Barnardo is based at Department of Case Writing Centre, Graduate School of Business, UCT, Cape Town, South Africa. Claire Barnardo is the Case Writing Centre Manager at the UCT Graduate School of Business. Founded in 2017, the Case Writing Centre has built a collection of 49 teaching cases in a short space of time. Prior to cases, Claire was an editor and journalist for 13 years. She is passionate about writing and championing African and emerging market business cases.
