Dr Dimitrios Kafetzopoulos is Scientist that balances between industry and academia. He has extensive knowledge and practical experience in the industry as he has been working in this sector for over 25 years. He received a PhD in Quality Management at the University of Ioannina, Greece, in 2011. Dr Kafetzopoulos is teaching courses in many universities while he is Postdoc Researcher in the Department of Food Science & Nutrition in the University of the Aegean. He has dealt with issues of management and marketing and his research interests include: quality management, innovation management, and production and operational management. His current research projects are in advancing innovation strategies and their application to Food Organization.

Evangelos Psomas is Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration of Food and Agricultural Enterprises in the University of Patras. He received a PhD in Total Quality Management at the University of Ioannina, Greece, in 2008. He has dealt with issues of management and marketing and has worked as Teaching Assistant in the University of Ioannina and Technological Educational Institute of Epirus. His research interests include: total quality management, quality assurance, food safety management, human resource management, supply chain management, agribusiness and food marketing.

Dimitris Skalkos is Associate Professor in Food Business Management of Innovation at the Department of Food Science and Nutrition at the University of the Aegean, Greece. He has been Visiting Assistant Professor at The University of Toledo, Ohio, USA, and Teaching Assistant at The University of Ioannina, Greece. He has 20 years of experience working at the private sector on business and innovation including the positions of: Director of the Business Innovation Center (BIC) of Epirus-Greece. His research interests focus on the promotion and management of innovation on SMEs, knowledge transfer and new product development and regional innovation strategies for development and growth.
