Front-end of innovation: a systematic review and lifecycle analysis

Prof. Maicon Gouvea de Oliveira is a professor in strategic innovation management at the Institute of Science and Technology, Federal University of Alfenas, Brazil. He has been working with strategic innovation management since 2007, publishing in several top-ranked academic journals. He has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a PhD in production engineering from the University of São Paulo (USP), and a post-doctorate from the Institute for Manufacturing, University of Cambridge. His areas of interest are strategic innovation management, front-end of innovation, roadmapping, digitalization, and product and service development.

Prof. Glauco Henrique de Sousa Mendes is a Professor of Quality Management and Service Innovation at the Federal University of São Carlos, Department of Production Engineering. His research interests include new service development, product-service systems, servitization, front-end of innovation and quality management.

Karina Mendes Serrano has a bachelor's degree in production engineering (2019) from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar – Brazil). She holds a Masters' degree in Innovation Management and Industrial Design (2018) from Ecole Nationale Supérieure en Génie des Systèmes et de l'Innovation (ENSGSI – France). She is currently a Masters' student in Production Engineering at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar – Brazil). Her research interests include roadmapping, digitalization, servitization and artificial intelligence.
