We start off with a number of project announcements. An Australian project has been initiated by the National Library of Australia to investigate strategies and implement procedures for capturing, storing, preserving and accessing digital data by creating an electronic archive of library materials. PANDORA (Preserving and Accessing Networked Documentary Resources in Australia) is being funded in part by the Australian Vice Chancellors' Committee (AVCC) Working Group on Electronic Publishing.
