Improving the discoverability of PhD student work through a CRIS system

Lidija Ivanovic has worked as the Chair of Informatics and Media, Faculty of Education, Sombor on the position of Assistant Professor since 2014. Mrs Ivanović received her master’s degree in 2007 and PhD degree in 2014 in Computer Science at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences. She published more than 10 scientific papers. Her PhD dissertation is a result of this project.

Bojana Dimic Surla is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics, University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Sciences. She received her master’s degree in 2007 and PhD degree in 2009 in the field of Information Systems. She received both the degrees from the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Sciences. She holds teaching seminars on the subjects information systems and artificial intelligence at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics. She published more than 20 scientific papers.

Dusan Surla is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Novi Sad, Serbia since 2010. Mr Surla received his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Philosophy in 1969, master’s degree in robotics from the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Mechanics in 1976 and PhD degree in robotics from the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences in 1980. Since 1976, he is with the Faculty of Science in Novi Sad. He published more than 200 scientific and professional papers. Professor Surla was also team leader of BISIS project.

Dragan Ivanovic has worked at the Department of Computing and Control Engineering, University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences on the position of Assistant Professor since 2010. Mr Ivanović received his master’s degree in 2006 and PhD degree in 2010 in Computer Science from the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences. He conducts seminars on the subjects digital documents management on master studies and selected topics of digital archives on PhD studies at the Computer Science Department – these courses include topics related to library standards, digital repositories (including OA policies and OA repositories), information retrieval, etc. His PhD dissertation is a result of this project.

Zora Konjovic is the Full Professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia since 2003. Mrs Konjović received her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Novi Sad, Faculty Science in 1973, master’s degree in robotics from the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences in 1985 and PhD degree in robotics from the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences in 1992. Since 1973 till 1980, she was with the Faculty of Science in Novi Sad, and since 1980, she is with the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad. She participated in five scientific and more than 30 professional projects; in five projects she was the project leader. She published more than 150 scientific and professional papers.

Gordana Rudic has worked at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics, Faculty of Scences, University of Novi Sad on the position of Head Librarian since 1991. She has also worked at the Chair of Librarianship, Faculty of Education, Sombor, at position of Assistant Professor since 2012. Mrs Rudić received her PhD degree in 2011 in the field of librarianship and informatics from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Philology. She has published more than 10 scientific papers.
