Paperbase de Luxe is a simple flat‐file database program designed specifically for the storing and manipulating of bibliographical data of the sort used by scientists and others writing referenced articles and reports, or by those simply wanting to keep track of their reading matter or offprints file. It is fairly straightforward to use and, by and large, fulfils its function well. It is distributed by Wight Scientific, 44 Roan Street, London SE10 9JT, England. Telephone: 01 858 2699. It costs £90 in Europe; the first update to a new version of the program is free while subsequent updates are £5 (until end 1987).
