Researchers, students and others in less developed countries (LDCs) need access to the latest technology and ideas in order to further their own studies and research and increase their own knowledge and self‐sufficiency. Whilst a certain amount of aid is forthcoming from many countries it is not often translated into scientific and technical books and journals.
