Robbins — in Wonderland?

How many individuals, committees and authorities who quote from the imposing array of statistics in the Robbins Report, in support of their demands for increases in the provision for technological education, and how many of those at whom these demands are directed, are fully aware of the Alice‐in‐Wonderland method adopted by the Robbins Committee in their attempt to estimate the future demands for higher education?
