Graduates in the Sandwell,West Midlands, area are being offered fast-track access to a wide range of careers.

The Sandwell Training and Enterprise Council "High Flyers" programme gives recent graduates and those with A-levels, national vocational qualification level 3 or better the chance to earn money while gaining a wide range of skills and experience in a small or medium-size firm.

Projects ranging from market research and marketing to information technology, management development and new-product development are on the agenda for those taking part in the scheme.

High Flyers is supported by the European Social Fund and the Single Regeneration Partnership. A subsidy of £57.15 a week is available to participating companies.
