In last month's article consideration was given to continuous assessment as a better alternative to the traditional time‐test examination. Although some form of continuous assessment has been in use in this country for half a century and although this method is now gaining a wide acceptance, other forms of examining are available and are being tried by various examining bodies. Of these other types, that of objective examining is perhaps the main one.
