A class clamouring for more English exercises, more homework and reluctant to admit their college life could ever come to an end. It's not a situation many teachers would recognise; but those at Bournville College of Further Education in Birmingham are finding enthusiasm a real problem. They need constantly to think up new teaching ideas to keep pace with their omnivorous students. And they dread having to tell an ambitious youngster that he won't make it to university.
