The Department of Business and Management Studies at Havering Technical College believes that running courses in distributive subjects is competitive. This helps to explain why in the last five years management trainees have come by road, rail, and even air to Hornchurch, Essex, to attend the college's tailor‐made residential courses organised on behalf of some of the biggest names in the supermarket trade.
