Viewpoint: After ONC/D and HNC/D — a case of splitting heirs Available to Purchase

It is more than a polite euphemism to say that there is some confusion between the Dip HE and the higher awards which the Business and Technician Education Councils have announced and which will shortly commence to operate, replacing the higher national diplomas and certificates. This confusion is not helped by the failure of the Department of Education and Science to set out in acceptable terms what it believes the distinction to be.
