If you are not a teacher who likes to run through a course‐book like a railway timetable, generating about the same amount of interest from your students, and if you don't have to follow a pre‐set, hide‐bound examination syllabus, then you will probably want your students to get the maximum amount of benefit in the minimum amount of time.
