The Editor has invited me to write an article to fit in with this month's Focus. Having already written articles on this subject for Education & Training in 1977 and seen them reproduced only last year, I am not sure that I have anything fresh to add. However since there are probably new readers who, I assume, will soon be embarking on a course of study leading to the ABE examinations, it may be useful if I try to boil down the essentials in plain simple language. I will divide what I have to say under three headings: organisation, study skills, and examinations.
