This time there was a pause in the generally growing improvement in the scripts presented by candidates. The general level of papers was poorer in quality compared with recent examinations. Again though the overseas papers were better and the pass rate was certainly comparable with past experience, it was the lack of strong answers that was disappointing. Only question 7 was really unpopular with candidates, question 2 being most favoured.
