THE EDITORIAL comment in the July issue of TECHNICAL EDUCATION should not be allowed to pass unchallenged. The conclusions drawn from the evidence submitted by the Association of Teachers in Technical Institutes to the Newsom Committee shows either a disregard for, or a lack of knowledge of the developments that have taken place in the secondary modern school during the past six or seven years.
