In the course of the Commons debate on the Albemarle Report on the Youth Employment Service, the Minister of Labour, Mr Ray Gunter, said that the Youth Employment Service Training Board, in its comparatively short existence, had already done much to expand training facilities for full‐time training of local authority officers, to review the contents of those courses and to insist on appropriate standards of entry to training.
