The European Commission has published its review of research and development in technologies for education and training, covering the period from 1994 to 1998.

The report describes 86 projects, involving more than 700 organizations, supported under the so-called"telematics application" programme. Around a third of project partners are small or medium-size firms. The Commission has contributed 100 million euros towards the total cost of the projects (one euro is worth about 67 pence.)
