The Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Eurochambers, has launched a new programme of co-operation between the chambers of commerce of the EU and Mediterranean countries.

The project, funded by the EU Meda programme, has been prepared in co-operation with the Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce, Ascame. It provides for the organization of eight training seminars, some 100 training attachments, 20 twinnings between chambers of commerce in EU and Mediterranean countries and two annual conferences.
