Help for education and training reform in Turkey

The European Commission has allocated 100 million euros to support reform of the education and training systems in Turkey. The money, under the Meda programme of EU funding for Mediterranean countries, will be used to support Turkish education ministry reforms of initial and vocational training, improve education in the 12 most disadvantaged parts of the country and support the opening of local multidisciplinary education centres for people who were excluded from basic education in cities with a high level of immigration.
