Loan to improve education and training facilities in Helsinki

The European Investment Bank has agreed a 130 million loan to improve education facilities in the Finnish capital, Helsinki. The loan will enable the construction of new buildings, and upgrading of existing facilities, in the secondary and further-education sectors. The investment will provide additional places for some 5,000 students and will help to ensure a more rational use of existing buildings.
