Buro Happold FEDRA has become the first fire engineering consultancy to be awarded an Approved Training Agreement from the Institute of Civil Engineers(ICE).
The agreement allows Buro Happold to provide a single cohesive training scheme for all structural, civil and fire engineering graduates and technicians working in six Buro Happold offices countrywide. This agreement has been developed from the core principles and objectives of the ICE tailored to the needs of fire engineering. The document creates a sound flexible base allowing individual engineers to follow their own specialists within the discipline.
Stuart Martin, Associate with FEDRA, who is responsible for setting up the new agreement, commented, "The agreement will allow FEDRA and Buro Happold to progress the professional qualifications, and careers, of our team members, within a professional and very supportive training framework. Buro Happold has a deep commitment to ensuring all staff are given every opportunity to develop their professional skills, knowledge and qualifications."
