New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, New Mexico December, 1982, has worked in the HVAC field for over 18 years and has been a member of the faculty in the Construction Science Department since the fall of 1998. He has extensive applied engineering experience from mechanical consulting, field energy metering installation with the Texas LoanSTAR program,energy management systems operation and maintenance, and educational experience teaching HVAC and electrical design courses. As manager of the calibration function of the Energy Systems Laboratory at Texas A&M University, he has supervised and performed numerous tests and calibrations on different types en Ph.D. Mechanical Engineering, at Texas A&M University, he has supervised and performed numerous tests and calibrations on different types energy metering equipment. Dr Bryant is a frequent lecturer at workshops for his expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems and applicable building and energy codes.

Kimberly A. Carlson P.E. has worked in the HVAC field for the past 10 years. Her career started as a salesperson; providing HVAC equipment to mechanical contractors. She then moved into a position where she designed residential and light commercial HVAC systems for a ‘design/build’ HVAC company. In 1995, Ms Carlson became a research engineer for Energy Systems Laboratory at Texas A&M University. While working for the lab, she continued her education by earning a Masters in Architecture and becoming a registered engineer for the state of Texas. Her work at the Energy Systems Laboratory included developing plans to monitor building energy use, specifying energy monitoring equipment and overseeing contractors. Currently, Ms. Carlson works as an associate architect and is a lecturer in the Construction Science Department of Texas A&M University.
