Appropriate workplace strategies in Hong Kong

This paper first reviews the drivers to adopt alternative workplace strategies in offices with an emphasis on the need to integrate IT. A case study reviews the problems of converting an existing cellular office plan into an open‐plan layout with raised floor. Finally, the results of an employee satisfaction survey conducted after the office redesign are presented.
