The UK's most marketing led office products dealership, OfficeSMART,celebrated the launch of the 2001 Smart Selections Magalogue at their highly successful 11th Annual Conference, which took place recently at the Carden Park Hotel in Chester. The two-day event featured a strong line up of guest speakers. Senior facilities manager Mick Dalton of Ernst & Young discussed the exciting changes taking place in facilities management geared to a high performance workplace.
Dave Benson, CEO of US company, everythingoffice.com, spoke about PULSE, the new palm-held device that will demonstrate sales force productivity and customer relationship management.
Bob Schribner, president of SP Richards Company, the leading US office products wholesaler, talked about the attractive new independent dealer advantages in the USA.
The highlight of the event, however, was the launch of the 2001 SMART Selections Magalogue. Newly appointed board member and OfficeSMART marketing director, Elena Neville and her team presented the new theme "Oozone –open organisations @ work" highlighting the unique user experience.
To convey this feeling within the magalogue, Elena and her team incorporated new close-up photography to create an intimate feel. The magalogue is more structured than in previous years, thus easier to navigate and there are new links to attract consumers to wider product categories. The magalogue's unique blend of lifestyle imagery and upbeat captions has been further extended by the insertion of a variety of editorial features relating to the creation of a more soulful workplace.
