A description is given of the Charles Parker Archive in Birmingham Reference Library. The background of Charles Parker and his work in the BBC and in the folk revival are described. Production of The Radio Ballads and later work is mentioned. The contents and subject matter of the Archive, its cataloguing and the promotion of such oral history material are discussed.
