THE BRITISH LIBRARY LENDING DIVISION'S 1981 SUCCESS RATE SURVEY

This survey, aimed at determining the Lending Division's ability to satisfy requests from its users, was carried out in June 1981. A similar design to that used in the 19761 and 1978 success rate studies was followed, to facilitate comparisons among the three sets of results.
