Asian digital libraries conference

The second Asian Digital Libraries Conference (ADL'99) will be held at the National Taiwan University, in Taipei, Taiwan on 8-9 November, 1999. The conference is to bring together researchers and developers from academia,industry and government to advance the research of digital libraries in Asia. The first Asian Digital Libraries conference was held in Hong Kong in 1998.

The conference will immediately be followed by IRAL'99 (Workshop on Information Retrieval with Asian Languages, 1999). This is to facilitate further interchange between the digital libraries and information retrieval communities.
