Keywords Libraries, Taxation, Vouchers, Payments

The National Library of Australia Document Supply Service have announced that, from 1 July 2000, they will no longer accept ALIA (Australian Library and Information Association) vouchers as payment for loans and documents supplied.

The decision has been taken after consultation with the Australian Taxation Office over difficulties in taxation payments for transactions involving vouchers. From 1 July 2000, libraries using the National Library of Australia Document Supply Service will be able to choose from three methods of payment:Kinetica Document Delivery Payments Service; monthly accounts; payment by credit card.
