Bradford & Bingley Estate Agent's latest report indicates that the average time taken to find a buyer in the third quarter of 1999 was ten weeks,that there are four buyers for each property for sale, that the average length of time spent in a home is nine years, that the national average house price for first time buyers is nearly £70,000, and that the average price achieved is 97 per cent of the asking price. B&B predicts a 7 per cent rise in house prices this year.
