Building Maintenance Information

BMI tell us that the All-in Maintenance Cost Index rose 2.7 per cent in the fourth quarter of 1997,and the forecast is for 4.2 per cent in the year 1998.

Building craft works will receive 13.9 per cent on the basic wage rate in June 1998, but the net effect will not be as great, as this includes some consolidation of plus rates and additional payments.
