The Timber and Brick Consortium, the trade association for the timber frame industry in England and Wales, has been awarded funding from the DETR for a new quality assurance scheme to cover the on-site erection of timber framed buildings. The new scheme will be introduced in March 2000 and is known as Q-Mark Part 3 (parts 1 and 2 cover design and manufacture).
