IStructE meeting rooms

The Institution of Structural Engineers has renamed its meeting rooms after well known structural engineers. From 1 October the rooms at 11 Upper Belgrave Street, London SW1, which are currently undergoing major refurbishment, will be named after past senior engineers. The Council Room will be known as the Adams Room after Henry Adams, the Committee Room will be renamed the Baker Room after John Baker, and the Lecture Theatre will be known as the Plymouth Room after the Founder President, the Earl of Plymouth. The two seminar rooms will be renamed the Hardy Cross Room after Hardy Cross and the Waters Room after Sir Arnold Waters.
