The price of new construction work in the UK rose a little faster than general inflation between 2nd quarter 2004 and 2nd quarter 2005, according to the latest Tender Price Index from BCIS. However, the annual increase in tender prices is distorted somewhat by the large increase in tender prices in 2nd quarter 2004.
