First centre to offer ABBE Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment

BRE Training has become the first approved ABBE centre in the UK to offer the new ABBE Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment. The qualification, which is the only one of its kind to be approved by Ofqual, certifies a practitioner’s competence in performing fire risk assessments, which are required for all types of business by law. The Level 3 qualification enables successful candidates to produce fire risk assessments of less complex buildings, such as offices,theatres or shops with less than 300 occupants. A further ABBE Level 4 qualification that will enable practitioners to produce assessments of more complex buildings is currently in the pipeline.
